NJ Pesci I Painter For most of his adult life, NJ Pesci built his career around strategy—helping organizations navigate growth, change, and the complex relationship between people and systems. But beneath that professional life, another fascination was always present: water. Raised between New York and Massachusetts, NJ grew up with the Atlantic never far away. Its shifting light, depth, movement, and power became an enduring influence, eventually drawing him from the boardroom to the canvas. A self-taught artist, NJ brings the same discipline, curiosity, and attention to detail to painting that defined his business career. His seascapes and landscapes explore the tension between movement and stillness, light and shadow, strength and tranquility—inviting the viewer to slow down and look beyond the surface. For NJ, business and art are not separate chapters. They are parallel currents, each shaped by observation, intention, and a desire to understand how individual elements come together to create something larger. The tide never really left. He simply learned to paint it.
