Oblivion

This 22" x 30" pen-and-ink work centers on symmetry, repetition, and tension between structure and open space. Concentric forms radiate from the center while elongated geometric shapes and four circular corner elements create a strong architectural balance. Deep blue, violet, green, gray, and touches of red bring energy to the composition without overwhelming its precise linework.

The textured outer field adds another layer of rhythm, contrasting with the cleaner ivory shapes and finely detailed central geometry. From a distance, the piece feels bold and graphic; up close, the hand-drawn marks and repeated patterns reveal the time and precision behind the work.
