About the Work
A striking, one-of-a-kind bowl handcrafted from Box Elder Burl, prized for its extraordinary swirling grain and naturally intricate figuring. The original bark is preserved around the live edge, creating a beautiful contrast between the smooth, polished wood and its rugged exterior. Sculptural enough to display on its own, it can also serve as a distinctive catchall for jewelry, keys, or other small treasures.
The natural variations, knots, grain, and bark are part of what makes this piece entirely unique.
